Lesvos 2015: More North Coast Birding

Alongside the Alpine Swifts, the sky was full of Hirundines too. There were masses of House Martins and Swallows, plus the occasional Crag Martin and extremely good numbers of these 'RedRumpers'. Some of them are breeders but they were no doubt joined by migrants heading further North. I'll show you the 'Cragmarts' later but here's a selection of RedRump shots which I spent hours trying to get. A BirdRacer or TripLister would probably have gone berserk at me for 'wasting' so much time on them when there were lots more species to 'tick off'.Sometimes it's nice to be on your own. I found a little stream where they perched up like this one, and there were Middle Spots nearby and lots more to see - Cirl Bunts,Nightingales,Masked Shrikes, Lesser Whitethroats, Long-legged Buzzard overhead and Eastern Subalpines that I can recall off the top of my head ( I didn't write everything down, very bad of me ). Anyway, here's the pics.
