Eastern Bonelli's Warbler @ Faneromeni

Eastern Bonelli's Warbler ( Copyright T D Wright )
The little culvert at Faneromeni was fantastic during week one ( by week two it dried up and no birds at all!). I saw Great Reed Warbler, Marsh Warbler, 3 flycatcher sp., lots of Sylvias and even one phyllosc. which turned out to be an Eastern Bonelli's. It wasn't singing (unlike the ones in the Lardia valley ) but, because it was feeding in the culvert, it showed well enough to be identified on plumage features alone. Its bright green rump really caught the eye at times. I know these are not great pictures, but I'm posting them as they do show enough of the bird to identify it...
