Yes, that's right. Those are
all Whiskered Terns. I have to say that, second time around, Lesvos gave me the tern experiences I'd yearned for. When the main flock decided to 'Bring the Noise' and flew over me croaking like frogs I was in Tern Heaven. I do hope you're not all getting fed up with me still posting stuff from my Spring Break down there, but I have to say I
really liked it there. It's a shame that Lesvos/Lesbos is in the news for less happy reasons just now; being so close to the Turkish coast makes it superb for migrant birds - a different type of 'refugee'. As long as the island remains unspoilt I'll still want to go back there again if I can. Next time - White-wingers!
